Artisan crafting a steel drum

Our Story

A workshop devoted to slow sound.

It began with a single question: what would it sound like if an instrument could exhale?

We are a small studio of metallurgists, musicians, and meditators working out of a stone workshop on the edge of a forest. We make few instruments each month — by hand, by ear, and only when they are ready.

The Craft

Hammered. Tempered. Listened to.

Each drum begins as a single sheet of nitrided titanium-steel, hand-hammered into form over several days. The tongues are cut, deburred, and patiently coaxed into pitch — a process more like tuning a voice than a machine.

Nothing is rushed. Nothing is duplicated. No two drums sing exactly alike — and that, to us, is the point.

The Belief

Sound is the oldest medicine.

Long before language, we used resonance to soothe and to gather. Our instruments are tuned in 432 Hz reference — a frequency many find more grounded, more whole, more humanly proportioned.

We make them so you can play them. So you can give them. So your home, your studio, your mornings can have a small ritual of stillness.

Begin your ritual.
